So, I registered on these forums a while back, and have been more a lurker than anything else for the last while... but then the first forum I ever joined I stayed a lurker for about six months before I ever posted anything, so this is still a record-breaker for me.
So, I figured I would say hello (actually, I figured that I would say hello about a fortnight ago, but every time I sat down to post, something interrrupted me - this happens, I guess...)
I indicated my presence in the shoutbox a few days ago... And I have played with some of you already... there may have been some who wondered who I am... so, here is my introduction.....
You all know Lucifer, right? (Strange Scottish bloke, posts sometimes, is server admin, helps out around the place)
Well, I am his other half. (Strange Scottish female voice on TS, responds to Saint Troy, Saint, Troy, Jo, or, occasionally "WTF are you doing???"...I actually prefer Troy, but any of the above will do.)
Lucifer has been with you lot for a while now, and I was always the backseat gamer in his world - well, recently, due to a Steam sale or two, and the amazing generosity of DIOS (who bought me Left4Dead2, for which I will always be thankful
, thankyou very much again
) I have been more a frontseat gamer in my own right. I have been into games of various sorts over the past 15 - 20 years, but not really FPS games - I was always more into games like Fallout series, Starcraft, DiabloII, Guild Wars, Command+Conquer, Final Fantasy series, Total War series, D&D games (Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale, etc), and, in general, games that require less of a "twitch factor" than FPS games.
Recently I have been getting into games like L4D (1+2) Killing Floor, and UT2004 as well. I played UT2004 Freon with a bunch from LLS for the first time ever last night (my first UT2004 games ever) and it totally rocked. Afterwards, a bunch of us went on to play L4D2, which also rocked.
(BTW, I am definitely not a bot.)
